Joanna Sanders
Director, Professional Learning @Let's Talk Science
Joanna Sanders is Director, Professional Learning, for Let’s Talk Science. She leads the national team responsible for the design and delivery of professional learning opportunities for pre-school to Grade 12 educators. Joanna is an award-winning educator who previously served as the Consultant of Digital Fluency for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. During her time with government, she was recognized as an educational leader for her work on digital citizenship education, including the development of a digital citizenship policy guide for all Saskatchewan schools, the delivery of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for over 1,000 educators and a series of very successful youth forums which culminated in the participation of over 9,000 students in a virtual plenary on digital citizenship. Prior to joining government, Joanna worked as a middle years and high school French Immersion educator with Regina Public Schools.
